Southern England - Glastonbury White Spring

Our destination for today was the Glastonbury Tor. Just before we arrived there we spotted a lot of people heading up a side street with water bottles. It was a site of two springs - the red spring and the white spring. In ancient times and still today, the red spring was iron rich and typically used by the women and the white spring was calcium rich and typically used by the men. Below left was the entrance to the source (locked) and below right was the outside access where Pete tasted the water from the white spring. Not sure if it made any difference to him!
